Account and Profile Information
We collect information about you when you register for an account, create or modify your profile, or set preferences on our Services. For example, you might provide your contact information during registration, or billing information when requesting a quote. All passwords are stored using a strong one-way hashing algorithm.
Content you provide through our websites and APIs
The Services also include the websites owned or operated by us. You provide content to us when you give feedback or participate in any interactive features, surveys, contests, promotions, activities or events. We protect transmission security with TLS/SSL.
Information you provide through our support channels
When you contact our support team, you will be asked to provide contact information, a summary of the problem, and any other documentation, screenshots, logs or information that would be helpful in resolving the issue.
Usage Data from Self-hosted RhodeCode Instances
RhodeCode collects anonymized usage information from self-hosted Community and
Enterprise instances during upgrade checks — total number of projects and users,
license information, hostname, CPU information — to analyze upgrade needs.
No project names, usernames, or other content is sent. You can opt-out by setting
metadata.skip = true in rhodecode.ini.
Cookies and Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 with explicit consent. See our Cookies page for the list of cookies in use, their purpose, and how to change your preference. If you reject analytics, no GA4 script is loaded by this site.
Data Sharing
We will not share any of your information with any third party without your permission, with the following exceptions: when stored data is requested by law enforcement organizations to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding violations of our Terms of Service, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, illegal activities, or as otherwise required by law; or when RhodeCode is merged or acquired by another company — we will notify you before any Privacy Policy changes take effect.
Policy towards individuals under 16
The Services are not directed to individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 16.
Changes in Privacy Policy
We may make changes to this Privacy Policy and the associated information. To stay informed, please review this Privacy Policy regularly.
