Berlin and Palo Alto - November 12, 2015 - RhodeCode Inc., today announced that it has completed the acquisition of Appenlight, a privately held application-performance-monitoring provider that enables developers to easily and quickly gather performance metrics and error reports from web apps. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Clients across a variety of industries, including gaming, financial services, retail, and healthcare use Appenlight today. RhodeCode has now integrated Appenlight into its Enterprise solution, enabling customers to deliver powerful performance monitoring and reporting capabilities to their software development teams behind-the-firewall.

Acquiring Appenlight is a game changer for RhodeCode and our customers. We can now deliver performance monitoring, real-time data analysis, and error alerts, so customers can optimize their application performance and service delivery. We will launch added applications on the Appenlight platform in the months to come, said Matthew Powell, RhodeCode CEO.

The decision to join RhodeCode makes perfect sense. Developers now code using web frameworks and cloud infrastructure while constantly deploying their applications in real-time. Web development has transitioned into Enterprise and as part of that shift putting Appenlight behind-the-firewall fits the needs of teams looking to be right on the pulse of their software's performance, said Marcin Lulek, Appenlight founder and creator.

The acquisition of Appenlight helps strengthen the RhodeCode portfolio by extending the current development environment with data management technologies and application monitoring. This will enable customers to simplify and accelerate the development of scalable web apps.

The service is fully based on a RESTful JSON API, that allows for data to be easily stored and accessed. Its front-end has powerful graphing capabilities, letting users present their data in custom visual formats such as graphs, charts, or grouped reports.
